ZONTA CLUB OF FORT COLLINS ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEON

SAVE THE DATE -  2021 date yet to be announced.

The Zonta Club of Fort Collins hosted it's 9th Annual 'Meet The Author' event  on Saturday, May 2, 2020.  This event highlights women authors.  Themes in the past have included:  The Self-Empowered Woman, The Courageous Woman, The Purposeful Woman, The Resilient Woman,  Strong Women, Trailblazing Women and Women Changemakers.  You will not want to miss this next event.  Our previous Celebrity Author's have authored books about international  and local women's issues.

When available, you'll be able to purchase your author luncheon ticket here

Our 2020 Theme was ..FabYOUlous Women.. and our Author was Melissa Venable.

From trainwreck to trainer, Melissa Venable has taken the ride, hit the bottom, done the work and risen from the ashes. She brings the agony and the inspiration from her experiences of wrestling with a life-threatening Anorexia Nervosa diagnosis and battling to escape an emotionally (and sometimes physically) abusive marriage; and delivers a message of hope, empowerment and love to women who long to rediscover and re-ignite their innate FabYOUlousness.

Read comments from women who have attended our author events previously:
~ I have met some amazing women today and it has reinforced my faith in my own courage ~
~ Exciting to hear how the authors began their writing careers ~
~ Very nice event, great program, excellent job ~
~ Always empowering event for women, thank you for all you do ~
~ Great to be around a group of women supporting women, Love this event ~

The Annual 'Meet the Author' event raises funds to provide scholarships for local single Mom's at Front Range Community College and other institutions of higher education.

Zonta Clubs select, fund and participate in community projects fundamental to promoting women's economic self-sufficiency, political equality, access to education and health care and the elimination of violence against women.

The author event is typically held at the Fort Collins Country Club with a plated luncheon to enjoy as  the participants hear from our author.        When the date is available, we hope you'll mark your calendars and invite your family, friends and colleagues to join you.

Tickets to the event can be a wonderful Mother's Day gift.   If you cannot attend, consider a donation of any amount to go towards our scholarship fund.  Thank you for helping us provide financial support to help young women complete their education.

Tickets will go on sale typically in March and have previously been priced at $50.  Each ticket entitles the holder to the luncheon and the gift of an autographed book from the Celebrity author.  Depending on the COVID pandemic, we hope to see you in 2021.   Check back to this website for updated information on the 2021 event.

Vendor and sponsorship information is also available if you would like to market your business to women.  Contact us at ZontaFortCollins@gmail.com.
