SAVE THE DATE as The Zonta Club of Fort Collins will be hosting it's 6th Annual 'Meet The Author' event Saturday, May 6, 2017. This event highlights women authors. Our themes in the past have been the following: The Self-Empowered Woman, The Courageous Woman, The Purposeful Woman, The Resilient Woman and Strong Women. You will not want to miss this next event. Our Celebrity Author's have both experiences with and have authored books about international women's issues.
Our 2017 Theme is ...Empowered Women... and our Author is Erika Armstrong
A tenacious introvert discovers she can fly. After years of focus, she reaches the captain's seat of a commercial airliner only to lose it all after being arrested for a crime her husband committed. When her book club shows up in court on Valentine's Day, they show the world that what she gained is much more than what she lost...
This story is about traveling through the new social, gender and cultural challenges woman are facing. You'll also get to see the view from the cockpit and why humor and a good attitude will keep you from coming unhinged after spending thousands of hours locked in a small cabin with men...
